Festival of Innovations 2016: AVI Healthcare was honoured to be invited to showcase its award-winning TransNANO Transport Incubator.

The Festival of Innovations is a prestigious national platform that recognises breakthrough ideas and technologies with the potential to create meaningful social impact. Bringing together innovators, researchers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and academic institutions, the event celebrates indigenous innovation across multiple sectors, including healthcare.

A proud milestone for AVI Healthcare was the selection of the TransNANO Transport Incubator among the Top 25 Healthcare Innovations in India, chosen from 512 entries in the healthcare category. This recognition highlighted the product’s innovative design and its potential to improve neonatal transportation, particularly in areas where dedicated neonatal ambulance services are limited.

During the festival, Mr. Chirag Gala, Managing Director of AVI Healthcare, was invited to participate in the Round Table Conference on “Policy Dialogue for Uptake of Innovative Technologies for Public Health Use.” The discussion brought together senior policymakers, healthcare leaders, scientists, and industry experts to explore ways of accelerating the adoption of innovative healthcare technologies for public benefit.

The conference was attended by Shri Shripad Yesso Naik, Hon’ble Minister of State for Health & Family Welfare, along with senior officials representing the Departments of Health Research (DHR), Health & Family Welfare, Biotechnology (DBT), Science & Technology (DST), Pharmaceuticals, AYUSH, and the Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur. The session was moderated by Dr. K. Srinath Reddy, providing an important platform for dialogue on healthcare innovation and policy.

Participation in the Festival of Innovations 2016 represented an important milestone in AVI Healthcare’s journey. It recognised the company’s commitment to developing innovative, affordable, and high-quality neonatal medical devices that address real healthcare challenges and improve access to quality neonatal care.
